XipLink wireless acceleration technology is founded on standards originally established for communicating over space based satellite networks (VSAT), but is also proving to be increasingly valuable to wireless telecommunications operators to maximize the use of wireless backhaul links that inter-connect voice switches.

Wireless network operators are now maximizing the capacity of new and emerging wireless networks by using TCP acceleration in WiMax applications, mesh WiFi backhaul and low speed mobile data networks.

With hub accelerators placed strategically at base station tower locations, the network operator can opportunistically place remote accelerators at wireless sites to maximize performance and the use of valuable RF spectrum.
